Directions to Walk Meeting Points - 2009
Titley Pool
From Presteigne take the B4355 heading South towards Kington. After about 3 miles, in Titley village, look for the Stagg Inn on your right; take the second turning to your right (not the one immediately after the Stagg) down Eywood Lane. Drive on for about half a mile past houses until you reach open fields. Look for the inconspicuous lane on your left (if you come to a large house you have gone too far!); turn down here and, keeping left, drive on through two gateways (you may have to stop and open/close the gates - the first is fairly well hidden in a corner) and through a small wood until you reach the car park.

Cramer Gutter
Take the A4117 from Ludlow heading towards Kidderminster. Go through Clee Hill village; at the Murco Garage just beyond Doddington bear left and drive along this road across the Common passing over two cattle grids. At about 0.6m from the second cattle grid (2.5m approx. from the garage junction) the road forks either side of a Chapel; bear right here and park on the verge.

Pole Cottage, Long Mynd
From Church Stretton take the Burway Road, heading west and steeply uphill. Stay on this road ignoring the right-hand fork to Ratlinghope - Pole Cottage car park is a little way past this junction on the right.

Venus Pool
From Much Wenlock take the A458 north-west towards Shrewsbury. After about 7.5 miles, just before reaching Cross Houses, turn sharp left ( a very tight hairpin bend - if it's more of a right-angle you're on the wrong road! - ) along the unclassified road to Upper Cound. The entrance to the reserve is a little way along on the left as you go up the hill towards Venus Bank.
